I had the joyful experience of working with him when he was the owner’s representative on a $30 million project at our church. This was a complicated project that involved the excavation of 10 feet of rock beneath an existing frame structure. Sal was at the site almost daily and available for meetings with the owner, the contractor and architect at least weekly. I don’t know how we would have accomplished the job without the professional skills, patience and persistence that Sal brought to the task.
